Short Story: The Cave and the Canvas

A Passage from the Archives Titled: The Cave and the Canvas
the mans mind continues to paint the deceptive passages of the hollowed cave as he continues his navigation.  empowered through a state of internal solitude he explores these tunnels with the burning embers of ambiguous skepticism and emotional coherency.

as if to match his internal exploration with the external.  his mind becomes at ease as he reaches the heart of the cave and a sudden end to his metaphoric trail.  a luminous hollow room. still and silent.  houses a blank canvas perched on a set of smooth rocks.  the blue walls glow in an iridescent light and the distant droplets of water elicit serene notions amidst this calming environment.  beside the canvas are a collection of paints and brushes.

compelled in this new atmosphere. the man chants a powerful ballad that echoes in eternity:
'and with each exploration from within. i emerge an improved man. birthed into this life with the powers of hindsight. emotional connection. and introspective coherency. impervious to the shadows of pessimism that darken existence. for i see the light. or as a matter i am the light. the eternal flame of optimism sparks from within. its glow navigates me through all trails until at last i reach an evanescent end. an untouched canvas with an endless amount of colours stands before me. the flame within burns more and i am compelled to take this brush to my hand. for the end of this trail does not mark the end to this journey. as i stand to this portrait i understand it as the symbol of a humble beginning. and so i take to my brush. close my eyes. and follow my sharp and complex mind. painting to this canvas as i please. for this canvas is my life and i. its grateful artist'

immersed in the hollow heart and open portrait the man found realisation in life's oblique nature and the limitless creative means to design his own interpretation.

exerting his thought against the caving walls of existentialism and inspired with the essence of his naked mind. pervious to the influence of new ideals and beliefs.  he takes to the brushes and colours with assurance and a boundless sense of creative expression.  filling the canvas with the mind's desire and in course transforming the meaningless nature of the world to one with colour and vibrancy.  empowered to his core and through to his fingertips. each connection to the canvas is one of his own desire and imagination. character and disposition.
revelling in this sensation the man had uncovered life's grand purpose.  to transform this desolate canvas to one with the vibrant colours of identification and an undeniable sense of fruition.  so as to create a divine veracious masterpiece.
